Sesaney Green, LCSW

My journey is as unique as yours—and like many, it’s been filled with challenges, growth, and transformation. I’ve chosen to use my own lived experiences to guide and support others who are navigating life’s most difficult moments.

About Sesaney

I didn’t take a traditional path. I began as a troubled teen, curious about the outside world, often misunderstood, and constantly testing boundaries. School was a struggle, and I pushed my parents to their limits. But something in me shifted. I made the decision to go back to school, starting at community college before transferring to a university, where I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain. That was just the beginning.

After earning my degree, I worked in a community-based program serving at-risk youth—work that opened my eyes and heart even more. It led me to pursue my Master’s in Social Work, where my true calling became clear. From working in substance abuse treatment, to providing outpatient therapy for children and families, to doing high-intensity crisis work with individuals facing severe mental health challenges—I’ve walked alongside people in some of their darkest hours.

Opening SesCares Therapeutic & Wellness Services is the culmination of every step I’ve taken.

But make no mistake—this journey has not been easy. I’ve faced heartbreak, not just in relationships, but with friends and family. I’ve struggled with procrastination, self-doubt, depression, and imposter syndrome. The greatest loss of my life was losing my beautiful mother—my anchor and biggest supporter. Nothing prepares you for that kind of grief.

Still, I kept going. I fought hard for my peace, my healing, and my purpose. Those experiences didn’t just shape me—they made me a better therapist. A more human one.

At SesCares, I offer more than just clinical expertise—I offer compassion, realness, and a commitment to helping you rediscover you. Whether you're grieving, transitioning, or simply tired of carrying it all alone—I’m here to walk with you.

Let’s take that first step together.
